Palustrine alkaline herbaceous emergent marsh that is persistent from year-to-year and intermittently flooded across the surface.
Isolated wetland is a shallow pocket in a wide sand dune field.

Conditions: Dry season; ground is wet within 2 to 3 inches of the surface. Two wet areas soil are moist at surface.
